White sectional and a money cube beside a pink and aqua column in a bright loft

ViceDecor guide

The Outlaw Aesthetic

Staging a room with Miami Vice energy. Then the build: the ultimate 1980s synthwave and neon bachelor pad.

The look fails when the room tries to be a vault. It works when one object is allowed to be ridiculous and everything else stays quiet. A lacquer money cube. A white sofa. A column that is pink on one face and aqua on the other. Daylight.

This guide uses a real CasaNarco loft shoot: the cube as coffee table, the cube as bar, a single stack under glass, and the prop-money kit that belongs in the shot versus the kit that belongs in the hallway. Decorative pieces only. The shop is still casanarco.com.

  1. 01Stage the roomFive shots, five rules. Where the cube goes and where the camera sits.
  2. 02Build the padSynthwave color, neon discipline, and a checklist you can actually finish.
  3. 03Pull the kitTables, 1980s bills, the briefcase, the duffle. Each one has a job.
  4. 04LookbookEvery frame from the shoot, plus the loft film.
White curved sofa wrapping a low money cube in a bright modern room
The sofa is the frame. The cube is the subject. Nothing else on the floor.
Two people across a glass table with a single prop-money stack between them
Glass keeps the stack in the shot and the hands out of the way.
Money cube used as a bar between two people, pastel wall behind them
Bar height is the same cube. Two glasses, not a liquor wall.
